Claude SEO: 12 SEO Tools Combined in a Single Skill

Turn Claude Code into an SEO expert with this skill that combines technical audit, schema analysis, optimization for AI search engines (GEO), and more.

The 12 SEO tools in Claude SEO

Claude SEO isn't a single tool, it's a collection of 12 specialized skills that know exactly what they do. Here's what each tool does:

Audit and analysis

  • SEO Audit - Complete website audit: crawls every page, technical analysis, overall health score
  • SEO Page - In-depth analysis of a single page
  • Technical SEO - Pure technical analysis (headers, security, performance)

Content and structure

  • Content SEO - Content quality analysis based on E-E-A-T criteria (Experience, Expertise, Authoritativeness, Trustworthiness)
  • SEO Schema - Detection, validation and generation of JSON-LD schema, microdata, RDFa
  • SEO Images - Image optimization analysis (alt text, size, format)

Sitemap and structure

  • SEO Sitemap - Analysis of the existing XML sitemap
  • SEO Sitemap Generation - Generation of an optimized sitemap

Advanced strategies

  • SEO GEO - Generative Engine Optimization : optimizes content to be cited by AI (ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity). Analyzes passage length (sweet spot: 134-167 words) and structure

How it works

The tool works directly inside Claude Code. For example, for a complete audit:

/seo audit https://monsite.com

The agent will then:

  1. Identify the site type (SaaS, local business, etc.)
  2. Fetch the sitemap and robots.txt
  3. Analyze every page of the site
  4. Run several agents in parallel (technical, content, schema, performance, mobile)
  5. Generate a report with a health score and an action plan

The advantage of GEO

GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) is particularly interesting. It analyzes whether your content can be cited by AI search engines:

  • Can AI bots crawl your pages?
  • Do you have llms.txt files?
  • Are your paragraphs in the "sweet spot" of 134-167 words?

If your passages are too long or too short, AI agents skip you - they're "pretty lazy," as the video puts it.

Installation

One single command to install Claude SEO:

Once installed, all /seo commands are available in Claude Code.

SEO GEO analyzes whether your content is visible for AI searches. There's a sweet spot between 134 and 167 words per passage. If you're outside that range, AI agents skip you because they're pretty lazy.
